Introducing our new Executive Officer
05th February 2026
By Dr Marianne Broadbent, Melbourne Forum Chair
As many of you are aware, our Executive Officer for the past two years, Simone Goodwin, is leaving us to enjoy global travel and a sabbatical. Simone has fulfilled the EO role with distinction and diligence, supported our members and our events seamlessly, and managed many improvements to our systems and processes.
As Chair of Melbourne Forum, I have been particularly grateful for her ability to get things done with minimal fuss and bother, her calmness, and her insights and wise counsel. Simone leaves us at the end of February.
I am pleased to share that we have appointed Simone’s successor, Kylie Bierman. Over the month of February Simone will transition the Executive Officer role to Kylie. Kylie will be at a number of our events in February so please make sure to introduce yourself to her.
Kylie has a great background for the EO role. She has spent much of her career working with professional associations in member services roles, conference and event management, and leading operations. Her most recent roles have been with the CFA Society Australia and the Australasian Institute of Digital Health. The CFA Society is a not-for-profit professional association for over 3,500 investment professionals, dedicated to promoting high ethical and educational standards within the Australian investment industry.
We are delighted to have Kylie join us and please make her very welcome.
