Melbourne Forum 2025 Annual Report

Thank you to all members who attended the Annual General Meeting last week.

Melbourne Forum Chair, Dr Marianne Broadbent, delivered the Chair's report at the meeting. The full annual report is available on the website (you must be logged in to read it, or find it via the app under Library).

At the separate meeting of the newly constituted board held at the conclusion of the AGM, it was resolved that the current office bearers would remain in place until the next board meeting on 9 December. Further, the 11-person board will discuss the vacant 12th position on 9 December.

An update will be provided to members in due course.

Our Closing Event was a wonderful occasion for members and guests alike. In addition to lively conversation and outstanding hospitality, we were privileged to hear from our 2025 Fellows, Charlie Beckley and Divya Pasupuleti, along with a message from Dr Linny Kimly Phuong, who was unable to join us in person.

It was uplifting to hear how much the Fellows gained from their involvement with the Forum this year - the experiences they valued, the insights they shared, and the connections they formed. The evening was made even more special with the news that all three will continue their membership next year, with Divya also joining the board.
