Drinks with Danielle Wood

In a very timely session, Productivity Commission Chair Danielle Wood led a stimulating and thought-provoking session with Melbourne Forum members on how we can improve Australia’s productivity. She foreshadowed the intense nature of work being completed by the Commission with five interim reports being presented to Federal Treasurer, The Hon Dr Jim Chalmers MP, in the next two weeks in advance of the August Economic Reform Roundtable. Questions from members and guests came thick and fast, demonstrating the thinking, passions and insights of all in attendance. We look forward to the release of the reports with refreshed lenses and new insights. The ‘full house’ of members and guests kept the discussion going over drinks for quite some time following the formal event.
