Melbourne Forum 2024 Wrap & 2025 Outlook

13th December 2024
By Dr Marianne Broadbent, Melbourne Forum Chair

I hope you've found our 2024 Melbourne Forum calendar as stimulating and informative as I have! It’s been wonderful to see so many of us returning to - and truly appreciating - our in-person events. The second half of 2024 marked a wonderful resurgence in participation, leading to a vibrant and successful conclusion to the year. See below for some photos of our various events.

I am delighted to introduce our newest members who've joined us in the past three months, along with several returning members. Let’s extend a warm welcome to:

  • Anthony Privitelli – General Manager, Dulux Powder, Industrial and Automotive Coatings
  • Dr Meridee Flower – Retired General Practitioner
  • Dr Russell Harrison – General Manager Dog and Vision Services, Guide Dogs Victoria
  • Hugh Burrill – Retired Company Director
  • Julie Hucker – Brand Development & Communications Project Manager, Krisis Flood Bags
  • Susan Oliver AM – Member Global Investment Committee, IFM Investors
  • Yehudi Blacher – Director/Owner, Yehudi Blacher Consulting

In addition, many of our recent conversation leaders have also joined our Forum: Greg Barns SC, Dr Tim Dean, Eric Beecher, Clancy Moore and Lawrence Money.

We already have a terrific program lined-up for February and March, so please head to the Upcoming Events page to make your bookings before you forget to do so – and before the event becomes oversubscribed.

Also coming in early 2025 will be a new website and membership management platform designed to enhance your Melbourne Forum experience. Much thanks to our diligent, talented and very well-organised Executive Officer, Simone Goodwin, for her commitment and persistence to this project, as well as everything else she undertakes on our behalf at Melbourne Forum. It is very much appreciated.

I wish all members a safe and restorative period over the holidays and look forward to you joining us for robust and informative conversations from early 2025.

Marianne B
