How can Australia position itself to thrive amid profound economic and social structural shifts?
Lunch with Luci Ellis
Hosted by Prof Vin Massaro
We are now seeing some big medium-term structural forces shaping Australia’s economic and social outcomes and those globally. We are transitioning to a more bipolar and fragmented geopolitical landscape where nations are prioritising what they see as their own resilience and security. We are experiencing significant shifts in population profiles and dynamics. More rapid technology and innovation cycles are accelerating everyday changes in how we live and work.
We are delighted to have top economist and commentator Luci Ellis lead a conversation providing insights about how and why these shifts matter to us and what actions we can each take to create better futures. She will stimulate our thinking on how we can and should tackle each of these challenges and opportunities. Which of these shifts warrants a response from government policy to get the best possible outcomes, and where do we need the private sector to seize the opportunities?
