AI in Medicine: Benefits and Challenges
Drinks with Professor Meng Law
Hosted by Professor Vin Massaro
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming medicine by enhancing diagnostics, personalising treatment, streamlining operations, and accelerating drug discovery. However, the integration of AI in healthcare raises critical concerns regarding data governance and ownership, liability, and of course, ethics. There is also a concern that AI will only lead to a de-skilling of medical practitioners.
Professor Meng Law returns to Melbourne Forum to discuss these critical questions and more. Meng is Professor and Director of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Alfred Health, Director of iBRAIN – Integrated Bioinformatics Research in AI and Neuroimaging, Monash University, and Professor Departments of Neuroscience, Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Monash University.
Always popular with members, please join Professor Law for this vibrant and insightful conversation.
