
Australia's First Lunar Rover Space Mission to the Moon - The Roo-ver Mission

The ELO2 consortium is a national mission working with the Australian Space Agency and NASA. It's an exciting venture as this historic project creates new jobs and showcases Australia's creativity on this mission to the Moon. The Lunar Rover, called Roo-ver, will bring back samples from the Moon which will assist in new knowledge advancing space exploration technology. Australia was specifically chosen by NASA for this mission.
Joining us to discuss this Australian-first project are Ben Sorensen and Professor Adrian Neild.
Ben Sorensen is the ELO2 Consortium Director charged with leading the team of 21 industry and research partners to build and operate Roo-ver.
Prof Adrian Neild is the Deputy Dean Enterprise, Faculty of Engineering, Monash University and Director of Monash Innovation Labs. Monash Innovation Labs, a partner on Roo-ver, has a focus on bringing together industry and Monash research talent to drive innovation in Victoria’s manufacturing sector.
