Chris Gallagher is a professional strategist with a career history of being selected by organisations to innovate and to lead cultural change.
She has held senior management positions in the planning arena, including Deputy Director of Major Projects Victoria and Director of City Strategy at the City of Melbourne. She has also been a Ministerial Adviser to two State Government Planning Ministers.
Chris also has considerable corporate governance experience. She is a director of the John Cain Foundation. She has been a director of the Australian Print Workshop, the Southern and Eastern Integrated Transport Authority, Monash Property Management, VicSport, the Melbourne Convention and Marketing Bureau and Regent Theatre Management Company. For six years to June 2008 she was Chair of the Heritage Council of Victoria. She has been a member of the Minister for Planning’s Priority Development Panel, Central City Standing Advisory Committee Advisory Committee for the Melbourne Planning Strategy.
