KATE KENNEDY is the CEO of Hagar Australia, an international organisation committed to the transformation of survivors of severe human rights abuse and modern day slavery. An accomplished leader in philanthropy, volunteering and international development, Kate has worked across private, non profit and government sectors in developing and implementing solutions to global and local disadvantage.
Her executive roles with World Vision Australia, The Pratt Foundation and consulting projects with Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and the United Nations are complemented by more than 15 years experience as non-executive Director and chairperson on boards including goodcompany, Jesuit Publications and MacKillop Family Services.
Kate will talk about her Hagar and their work with survivors of severe human rights abuses such as slavery and peadophelia.
