Melbourne lawyer Judy Courtin has been a passionate advocate on behalf of victims of sexual assault and for law reform in that area. She has been a committed advocate for victims of assault by the Catholic clergy and argued strongly for the establishment of both the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry and the Royal Commission. Many of her opinion pieces have been published in The Age, The Canberra times and The Conversation.
