7th September 2017
In an 1890’s building which once housed the Union Electric Lighting Company, the Union Electric bar exudes a warmth which has lit up a Melbourne lane way and shows no sign of fading away into the night anytime soon.
You will find our Melbourne Forum members and guests in Chinatown from 5:30pm on Thursday 7th September, sipping a craft beer, a wine or even an apple juice. The Union Electric bar does not sell food or nibbles, but you are more than welcome to bring something with you if you like. The Chinese restaurant next door is well-accustomed to providing spring rolls, dumplings and other oriental delights for Union Electric customers.
On our search for hidden gem's, this doorway is certainly hidden - once you make it to Heffernan Lane, look above for the lightening bolt!
MF Imbibo has been created purely for the purpose of meeting and talking to other members and, in the short time that these monthly events have been running, many great relationships have developed among our attendee's - particularly for guests that are interested in joining the Melbourne Forum. There is no entry fee, you just need to pay for your purchases as you go, and although booking's are not essential, it's nice to know how many people we are anticipating will attend..
So lock the date in your diary and explore this little historic venue with us.
