Jane Brockington was CEO of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission. The Commission used a breakthrough approach to community engagement and community trust, that has set a new benchmark for the conduct of inquiries. It  is now accepted as best practice and has been adopted by subsequent inquiries and reviews. Jne was also the inaugural CEO of the Victorian Commission for Liquor and Gambling Regulation, overseeing its creation in 2012.

Hosting this event is Janice van Reyk, a highly respected Non Executive Director, currently serving on the boards of Melbourne Water, Port of Melbourne, Citywide and Northern Territory EPA. Previously, she enjoyed a successful career as a senior executive in ASX 100 companies (BHP, Orica, National Foods) and as a consultant on urban infrastructure.
