Cr Amanda Stevens, BA(Hons), LLB, LLM, Mayor, City of Port Phillip.

Elected as a Councillor and Mayor to the City of Port Phillip in late 2012, Amanda is currently in her third term as Mayor having been re-elected by her Councillor colleagues in November 2013 and 2014.


A lawyer by training with Economics, Law and Master of Laws qualifications, Amanda has attended leadership programs at Harvard and Cranlana and assists voluntarily in the delivery of leadership programs at Leadership Victoria.

Amanda spent 10 years at ASIC the corporate regulator, leading national teams and specialising in directors ‘duties and corporate governance. More recently she has advised corporates and public sector organisations on corporate governance, leadership and diversity as a management consultant.

Amanda has a history of volunteering on not-for-profit boards and volunteering in other capacities since her university days and she was a regular columnist in the Law Institute Journal prior to her election to local government.
