Anna Peeters is a National Health and Medical Research Council Research Fellow and the Head of Obesity and Population Health at the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. Her work aims to build the evidence base for public health policy regarding the prevention of obesity and its consequent diseases. Anna is an epidemiologist and public health researcher with skills in chronic disease modeling. Her areas of expertise are chronic disease and aging, with particular focus on the population health implications of overweight and cardiovascular disease. She is also President of the Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society and an adjunct Associate Professor through the Monash University School of Population Health and Preventive Medicine.
