Large super funds take stewardship of the companies they own very seriously. The driving rationale behind this is to protect or enhance the value of the companies in which they invest.
ACSI is a collaboration of Australian and international superannuation funds that collectively manage more than $1 trillion in assets. ACSI works with its members on research and policy formation; company and financial system engagement; and advocacy and voting advice, in relation to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) investment risk and opportunity.
Appointed CEO in April 2015, Louise has more than 20 years senior expertise in the financial services and superannuation industry. She joined ACSI from Cbus, where she was responsible for the integration of ESG issues within Cbus’ investment processes.
In 2015 Louise was named Victoria’s Local Hero in the Australian of the Year Awards for her work as the Co-Founder and National Chair of the Mother’s Day Classic Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Research. Established in 1998, this ongoing national event has raised in excess of $30m for breast cancer research.
Louise is a Director of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and a Director of the Board of the International Integrated Reporting initiative.
Louise will share with you the work ACSI is doing on behalf of their members.
